We provide a trainer to assist you!
Unlike other RTO delivery models, you will have a staff member who is a TAE Qualified Registered Teacher or Qualified Trainer who is committed to the school and the students on a weekly basis.
This course is perfect for those:
- Seeking a pathway to a trade apprenticeship.
- Wanting a job as a trades assistant.
- Wanting skills in welding and fabricating.
On enrolment, students will choose their engineering project build:
- Go-Kart Build
- Build a Remote Controlled Robot
- Drone Autonomous Flight
This is a Nationally Recognised qualification. Enrolments accepted from school students nationwide.
My Industry Training provides training and assessment for this course. My Industry Training is a business branch of Adapt Education (RTO 32452). Students are enrolling with Adapt Education Pty Ltd trading as My Industry Training.
Outcomes

Delivery Modes
➜Third Party Trainer
A teacher is nominated with the necessary qualifications to train the students. The school is supported with a program designed specifically for teacher delivery in the classroom and in the workshop to achieve success. We provide training and development for teaching staff to ensure industry currency and standards are met. Our easy-to-use online learning portal (LMS) gives students convenient access to their theory learning and assessments, both at school and from home.
- Your designated trainer will send weekly progress reports for student tracking.
- All our trainers are registered teachers who can engage and collaborate with the student and designated trainer in a learning environment that is constantly changing.
- We have direct links with employers that can assist with work experience and employment opportunities.
➜Applied Subject and Qualification Map
In the case where students are completing an Applied Subject, the qualification is mapped to the applied subject program. Our trainers use selected curriculum time and/or block exam time to assess the gaps. This option does not require the school to train and assess the qualification.

- We have direct links with employers that can assist with work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.

This self-paced engineering course allows learners to develop practical knowledge and essential industry skills at a time and place that suits them. Through engaging lessons, real-industry examples and practical activities, participants can progress at their own speed while learning about engineering practices, workplace safety, equipment and industry standards. This flexible approach supports both new and experienced learners, enabling them to review content as needed and build confidence before applying their knowledge in the workplace.
Learners will be required to engage in work experience or employment to meet the practical requirements.
We have direct links with employers that can assist with work experience and employment opportunities.

Delivery Modes
➜MIT Training Facility
The course is trained at our own facility equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to the run the program. Course runs one (1) full day per week delivered over two terms. Enquire with our team to check course availability.
- We provide tablets (ICT) and internet for all students that don’t have an ICT device or has forgotten to bring their own on the day of training.
- All our trainers are registered trainers that can engage and deal with students in a learning environment that is constantly changing.
- We have direct links with all trades and will assist with work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.
- Any student who completes our course and wants to be a Carpenter, can transition into their four (4) year apprenticeship with My Industry Training as an approved provider.

- Learners will be required to engage in on-site work experience or employment to meet the practical requirements. We can assist in finding placement with an employer.
