Complete your White Card training Face-to-Face at our training space in Wynnum.

Our courses are trained by highly experienced, qualified trainers who create an interactive and informative learning experience. Thanks to our streamlined training process, you’ll be ready to hit the worksite fast and receive your White Card on the very same day.

⇒ Classes run every Thursday at our training space in Wynnum.

⇒ The White Card course has a total duration of 4.5 hours.

⇒ PPE provided on day of training.

⇒ If you don't own a laptop, don't worry we can provide a laptop or tablet for the day.

⇒ My Industry Training will issue  a Queensland White Card after successful completion of the CPCWHS1001 unit.

 

My Industry Training provides training and assessment for this course. My Industry Training is a business branch of Adapt Education (RTO 32452). Students are enrolling with Adapt Education Pty Ltd trading as My Industry Training.

Course Details

The White Card Course introduces the essential safety knowledge needed for construction work. It covers key work health and safety laws, common on‑site hazards, and the practical steps required to manage and control associated risks.

Why do I need a White Card?

To be able to carry out construction work in Queensland, a person must have competently completed a White Card Course.

Outcome

National Recognised Unit of Competency: CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry (White Card).

Course Content

Content covered includes:

  1. Identifying health and safety legislative requirements of construction work.
  2. Identifying construction hazards and risk control measures.
  3. Identifying health and safety communication and reporting processes.
  4. Identifying incident and emergency response procedures.
  5. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) selection and fitting.

Methods of assessment includes:

  1. Multiple choice and short answer questions.
  2. Verbal questions.
  3. Complete a simple form.
  4. Demonstration of correctly fitting PPE.

Training 

⇒ We provide face-to-face training at our Wynnum training space for groups up to 20 students.

⇒ The course will take 4.5hrs to complete.

⇒ Your White Card will be issued on the day of training.

⇒ We will provide all the necessary PPE for fitting purposes.

Schools

School delivery

We pride ourselves on our White Card course delivered in schools.  Experienced registered teachers/trainers will deliver face-to-face training on school grounds that is completed in one (1) day.  

My Industry Training will issue a Queensland White Card after the successful completion of the course.

Requirements

What you need

  • 3 forms of identification. Refer to White Card FAQs for more info.
  • A basic understanding of the English language.
  • A Unique Student Identifier (USI). Apply for a USI at usi.gov.au
  • Meet the minimum age requirement of 13+ years

Secondary School Students

We will provide a trainer for the day to complete the training and assessment on school grounds.

General Public

$135

We have White Card courses that run every Thursday in our training space in Wynnum.

Replacement Card

$50

We can organise a replacement White Card for you on the same day as the enquiry.

Replacement Card

Replacement White Card

If you’ve completed your White Card training with us or with another Queensland RTO, we’re able to issue a replacement card. You’ll just need to provide a valid Statement of Attainment as evidence and complete the following:

  1. Send through a White Card Replacement contact here.
  2. Fill out the lost/misplaced card declaration.
  3. Present one original or copy of a Category A or B document (QLD Driver's Licence, Australian Birth Certificate, Australian Passport, etc.).
  4. Pay the $50 Replacement Fee.
  5. Pick up your Replacement White Card today.
