This course is perfect for those:

This is a Nationally Recognised qualification. Enrolments can only be accepted from SE QLD due to the on-site practical components required in this course.

My Industry Training provides training and assessment for this course. My Industry Training is a business branch of Adapt Education (RTO 32452). Students are enrolling with Adapt Education Pty Ltd trading as My Industry Training.

Option 1 - MIT Program

Third Party Trainer

A teacher is nominated with the necessary qualifications to train the students.  The school is resourced and supported with a program designed specifically for teacher delivery in the workshop, classroom or in school grounds.  We provide training and development for teaching staff to ensure industry currency and standards are met.  Depending on school requirements, our course can be delivered both online or provided in hard copy format.

- Your designated trainer will send weekly progress reports for student tracking.

- All our trainers are registered teachers that can engage and deal with students in a learning environment that is constantly changing.

- We have direct links with industry and will assist with work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.

Option 2 - MIT Trainer

Applied Subject and Qualification Map

In the case where students are completing an Applied Subject, the qualification is mapped to the applied subject program. Our trainers use selected curriculum time and/or block exam time to assess the gaps. This option does not require the school to train and assess the qualification.

- We have direct links with industry and will assist with work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.

Option 3 - MIT Trainer

MIT Training Facility

The course is trained at our own facility equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment to the run the program.  Course runs one (1) full day per week delivered over two terms.  Enquire with our team to check course availability.

- We provide tablets (ICT) and internet for all students that don’t have a device or has forgotten to bring their own on the day of training.

- All our trainers are registered teachers that can engage and deal with students in a learning environment that is constantly changing.

- We have direct links with industry and will assist with work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.

Option 4 - Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Fast‑track your qualification with recognition for the study you’ve already completed and the skills you’ve gained on the job. Cut down your study time and get qualified sooner. We assess your experience and apply credits from previous successful training, giving you the recognition you’ve earned.

General public

Blended Learning

Consists of a combination of distance learning and on-site practical training and assessment. Theory content is provided online in a student portal or in a folder as a hard copy if required. Practical components are completed during on-site sessions at an agreed venue.

Classroom Based Learning

Two (2) days classroom contact per week for 10 weeks. Some self-paced learning and assessment is required in between sessions to ensure progress remains on track.
