Delivered via:
Trainer Directed | Option A
Extracurricular – The course is trained on school campus on a designated day or half day independent from timetabled classes. The duration of the course is one full day each week delivered over two terms, or one half day for the entire year. We can also include block training to reduce the impact on student timetables. All resources, tools, equipment and materials are provided.
Trainer Directed | Option B
Embedded in Curriculum – The program is implemented into the timetable as part of the curriculum and the course is chosen as an elective by the student in subject selection. My Industry Training provides a trainer for the required lesson and therefore creates available time for the school where teachers can be used elsewhere on the timetable.
Trainer Directed | Option C
Applied Subject and Qualification Map – In the case where students are completing an Applied Subject, the qualification is mapped to the applied subject program. Our trainers use selected curriculum time and/or block exam time to assess the gaps. This option does not require the school to train and assess the qualification.
School Directed | Option D
Program for School – A teacher is nominated with the necessary qualifications to train the students. The school is resourced and supported with a program designed specifically for teacher delivery in the workshop, classroom or in school grounds. We provide training and development for teaching staff to ensure industry currency and standards are met. Depending on school requirements, our course can be delivered both online or provided in hard copy format.
